What do I need to rent a car?

You will need a valid driver's license, a credit or debit card for payment, and to meet our age requirements (21-75 years old with at least 12 months of driving experience).

Do you accept international driver's licenses?

Yes, we accept international driver's licenses along with a valid International Driving Permit or an approved translation into English if the license is not issued in English.

How do I book a car?

You can book a car through our website, by calling our customer service or email.

Rental Terms & Conditions

There may be additional fees for things like late returns, refueling, toll charges, and additional cleaning if the car is returned in poor condition. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for a full list of potential fees.

NOTE: You must advise 1 week prior if you want to extend/return the car. The extra week will be charged, or the car may be unavailable to extend.

The vehicle must return clean and tidy as you get it (cleaning service from $100.00 depending on the condition of the car). Any cosmetic damage including stains, marks or tears to any leather interior or trimmings will incur a fee made at our discretion once reviewed upon car return.

The bond will be returned after 2 weeks from the date of the return, and fines and tolls will be charged from the bond.

THE CAR MUST BE RETURNED BY 4 PM (WEEKDAYS) AND BY 11 AM ON (SATURDAYS), OTHERWISE WILL BE CHARGED ONE EXTRA DAY. IF THE RETURN IS ON A PUBLIC HOLIDAY YOU CAN RETURN ONE DAY BEFORE. NO AFTER-HOURS PICKUP AND DROPOFF ARE AVAILABLE.

The responsibility for the maintenance service of the vehicle belongs to the driver without any cost (check sticker on the windscreen), if the driver does not book the service on time the service will be charged (services from $159.90) Not applicable for EV vehicles. Vehicle breakdown - contact the roadside assistance (free of charge in case of the vehicle is faulty – our services only cover 25km from Rent Ridez Location - Merrimac.

We are not responsible for (That means the cost of the tow truck will be the driver's responsibility) - Damage as a result of the use of the incorrect fuel type. - A flat battery because the lights or entertainment system have been left on. - Tyre changing, flat tire and tyre damage.

  • Lost keys or remote-control device; or Keys or remote-control devices locked inside of the vehicle. Any incident is the responsibility of the driver.

Can I extend my rental period?

Yes, you can extend your rental period. Please notify us at least one week in advance to ensure availability.

Can I drive the car outside the rental location's radius?

The vehicle must not be driven outside a radius of 200 kilometers from our rental location at Merrimac, Queensland unless authorized by us.

How do I pay for tolls?

An electronic tag (e-tag) is not fitted to our vehicles. It is your responsibility to fit an e-tag or purchase a day pass for toll payments. If we are required to nominate you as the responsible party for tolls, an administrative fee will apply.
